My pregnancy has been very well: I didn't had morning nausea or other typical complaints. The Reiki treatments gave me more trust in the pregnancy. I could reach rest easily and some little complaints dissapeared inmediately.
It was very nice my health insurance compensated 75% of the costs (Zilveren Kruis). In the year 2005 even 100% of the treatments were compensated! (There is a maximum).
On Valentinesday my sweety was born: a healthy boy of 3915 gramme with red hear!

Myself
From the first moment of my pregnancy, when I didn't know yet I was pregnant, I gave myself a lot of Reiki. In the first weeks I became extra tired. When it became clear, I was thankfull for this: my body forced me to take rest. I could adapt better and faster to the changes in the hormone houshold and the growing life in me.
In the beginning I often had nausea. I couldn't cope with the smell of food, especially in the morning. But, when I set down with my Reiki hands on my stomach, it disappeared immediately. I didn't had to throw up because of that.
I have construction for striae. My BH size grow two sizes, and ofcourse by belly grow much, but no striae arised. The skin and belly were very smooth. According to the midwife this was striking.
During the labour in weak 39 Reiki gave me strength, support and courage to go on. Because of that I delivered the baby naturally without a 'keizersnee', despite of a marathon labour of three days.
After labour Reiki helped me with the recovery.
After a tough labour often brest-feeding will not be possible. Luckely I didn't had problems with the amount of milk, I had no pleurisy or nipple gaps. I suspect Reiki played a role in this.
I am sure Reiki helped our child a lot. Kilian permitted us to treat him with Reiki. My hands (as well as my husbands) became very hot each time we hold him. Due to the 'vacuum verlossing' Kilian had a huge wound and 'vocht ophoping' at his head. This recovered miraculous fast. Also the umbilical point recovered very fast.
Normally a baby looses 10% of his birth weigth in the first 10 days. Kilian was at his birth weigth already after four days. At the tenth day he was over 250 gramme above his birth weigth. According to the midwife this was very exceptional. I suspect Reiki played a role in this too.
